About the Game

In Mow 'Em Down, players represent different landscape company owners who bid to win landscaping contracts throughout an ever-growing city. Players can bid only if they have enough lawn mowers available in their company. As players win contracts, they earn money to purchase more lawn mowers, which allows them to bid on future contracts. Contracts can expire, so players must be savvy with their bids to maintain a profitable business.

Sample Game Description

Here is a description of how the first three turns of a game might go...

Sample Game of Mow 'Em Down with Three Players:  Yellow, Red, and Blue
The table is set, the cards and tiles are shuffled, and each player has received their starting cash of $4000, their two mowers, and their four bid tokens.  The three players roll to see who the starting player is.  Red rolls the highest and therefore begins.

Questions We Get Asked

A Board Game?  How did you come up with that idea?
Mow 'Em Down was designed by Matt Saunders, a grandson of Max and Margaret Walker.  The spark of the idea for the game came when Matt worked at Walker Manufacturing during one of his summer breaks while he was in college.  "It all started out as a joke.
